Who We Are

A. R. Pierrepont Co., Inc. is a painting contractor for commercial and industrial facilities. We are an Union employer affiliated with the Painters and Allied Trades, District Council #4. We work throughout Monroe County and the surrounding counties.

Our expertise includes:

Specialists in application of acrylics, alkyds, epoxies, urethanes, elastomerics, lacquers, intumescent fire protection, wood stains/finishes and other specialty coatings.
Shop applied coatings: specialty wood finishes to match factory coatings, automotive coatings, metallics, and production enamels
Qualified applicators of 27" and 54" vinyl wallcovering, vinyl graphics, suedes, silks, and other types of wall covering.
Experts in grafitti removal
Lead trained and certified (OSHA & EPA)

Our commitment to quality is found inside and out of the office

All workmanship is warrantied for a minimum of one year. This includes labor & material.
All personnel are highly trained for maximum productivity and safety.
Staff is on call 24 hours a day to complete your painting project with minimal disruption to your operations.

Jeffrey D. Sturtz

President

Jeff has over 40 years of experience in Project Management, Administration, and Estimating.

RJ Sturtz

Estimator and Project Manager

RJ graduated from Alfred State College with a Bachelors degree in Construction Management. He currently assists with estimating, field operations, project management, and technical coating advisement

Kenneth A. Mackey

Superintendent

Ken has over 35 years of experience as a Journeyman/Painter. He became our Superintendent in spring 2018.

Valerie Golino

Office Manager/Full Charge Accounting

Val has been working with A.R. Pierrepont Co., Inc. for 34 years. Previous 10 years experience was accounting for real estate industry, banking industry, residential and commercial construction contractors.

Shawn Hamilton

Administrative/Accounting Assistant

Shawn has been with A.R. Pierrepont Co., Inc. since 2015, performing various duties. Currently his focus is entering and processing of payroll.
